The Wallbox Mid Meter is a certified energy meter (MID-approved), which determines the exact amount of energy for charging. Installed between the main electric meter and the distribution panel, this charging station is ideal for multi-unit homes and commercial buildings with multiple EVs. The Mid meter allows multiple charging points to be installed in or around a building, creating a convenient and efficient charging system.
1. Before you start
- Three-phase MID power meter, three-phase installations (<65A)
- We recommend you use STP cat 5E cables for your installation.
2. Supported chargers
The wallbox MID Meter 3-phase supports the chargers listed below:
- Commander 2
- Pulsar Plus
- Pulsar Max
- Copper SB
- Quasar

3. Installing the MID meter
- The MID meter should always be installed on the power line after the RCDs and MCBs (MID meter suggested as position F
- Bus line installation is recommended if the Power Boost (PB) and MID meters are close to each other. It is possible to create a communication bus with only one cable connected to the RS485 connector.
- If the PB and MID meters are physically far apart, you can opt for two different connection lines. Both will be connected at the same point and start at the RS485 charging plug.
