The Peblar Business 22 kW is a powerful and smart charging solution for companies looking to professionally manage electric mobility. This new charger from Peblar features bidirectional charging, via V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid). This allows you to use your electric car as a home battery when it features ISO 15118-20. With Dynamic Load Balancing, RFID authentication and business settlement, the Peblar Business is the smart choice for professional charging infrastructure. Made with a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW and a type 2 socket connection, this business EV charger is suitable for almost all electric and hybrid cars. The type 2 socket connection allows employees, customers and visitors to easily charge with their own cable.

Installing Peblar Business 22 kW

When installing a charging station, you actually have 2 choices;
1) You can install the Peblar Business 22 kW EV charger yourself
2) Have a EV charger installer install it for you

In principle, we always recommend having the charge post installed by a recognised charge post installer. After all, you don't want to skimp on safety and knowledge. People often underestimate how much is involved and mistakes can have major consequences. If you decide to install the charge post at home yourself, we would like to give you a few tips. First, always use an earth leakage circuit breaker with B characteristic, which is always lower than your main connection. Secondly, for this 22 kW charge post use a 5x2.5mm2 YMVK cable for inside / in conduit or a 4x2.5mm2 YMVK-as ground cable for outside. Have you also checked whether you still have enough space in your meter box? After all, the earth leakage circuit breaker takes up 4 modules, so an mini distributor is often necessary.
