The Zaptec Go 2 is a compact charger measuring just 24 x 18 cm of sleek Scandinavian design. Equipped with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW, via a type 2 socket. This new charger from Zaptec features bidirectional charging, via V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid). This allows you to use your electric car as a home battery when it features ISO 15118-20. Equipped with built-in MID-approved energy meter. Easy to pair with your dynamic energy contract from Tibber. Can be operated anytime and anywhere online via Wi-Fi or 4G, using the Zaptec APP. Dynamic load balancing and RFID locking are optional. Suitable for business settlement and all charge cards. A Norwegian quality product with as much as a 5-year warranty.

• This wallbox is suitable for all hybrid and electric cars with a type 2 plug.

• Bidirectional charging: This charging station has V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) charging capability. This allows you to use your electric car as a battery. Note: Only suitable for cars complying with ISO 15118-20.
• Dynamic load balancing (optional via the Zaptec Sense); this means that the wallbox automatically takes into account the power consumption of the household/company, thus preventing overloading.

Zaptec Go 2 22 kW wallbox installation

When installing a Wallbox Pulsar 11 kW EV charger, you actually have 2 choices;
1) You can install the Zaptec Go 2 22 kW ev charger yourself
2) Let a charging station-installer install it
In general, we always recommend having the charging station installed by a recognised charging station installer. After all, you don't want to compromise on safety and knowledge. People often underestimate how much is involved and mistakes can have major consequences. A recognised installer has completed the necessary installation courses, often including those provided by the brand itself.
If you decide to install the charging station at home yourself, we would like to give you a few tips.
First, always use an earth leakage circuit breaker with B characteristics, which is always lower than your main connection. Secondly, you will need a power cable for this 22 kW charging station. In this case, that is a 5x6mm2 YMVK cable for inside / in conduit or a 4x6mm2 YMVK-as ground cable for outside. If you want to activate dynamic load balancing, you will need the Tibber Pulse with it. Because it only connects via Wifi, you don't need a data cable.
Have you also checked whether you still have enough space in your fuse box? The earth leakage circuit breaker takes up 4 modules, as does the Tibber pulse, so an expansion box is often required.
