EVBox Elvi 11 kW

With the Elvi , EVBox has developed a charging station that is very suitable for the private market. This EVBox Elvi has a charging capacity of 11 kW (3x16A), making it suitable for many households in the Netherlands and Belgium. This EVBox wallbox comes with an app, which clearly displays all charging sessions. Furthermore, you can easily adjust your charging power in this app, as this Elvi features manual load balancing. The EVBox Charging Station connects to 3G or Wi-Fi and has a 6-metre fixed charging cable.

Besides its suitability for private individuals, this post is also suitable for business settlements.

EVBox BusinessLine

With its 22 kW charging capacity, the EVBox Business Line is the most suitable business charging station of all EVBox charging stations. As the post also features a type 2 connection, this EVBox charging post is compatible with almost any electric car. The hub can easily be linked to multiple satellite charging stations to create a charging plaza for your business or organisation. With dynamic load balancing, the EVBox charging system ensures that you stay within the available electric grid capacity. Installation of an EVBox charging station

We always recommend a certified installer when installing a Wallbox. This is because installing a charging station yourself can be quite complex and even dangerous. Below will explain the installation manual for the EVBox Elvi from our range. It consists, according to the EVBox manual, of 4 different steps, namely:

Installing wall dock EVBox Elvi

When installing a wall dock, it is important to use a solid and flat vertical surface. Next, cut the drilling template from the box and place it on the surface. Make sure this, in combination with the four mounting points, is properly aligned, using a spirit level, for example. Once this is done, drill holes with an 8 mm drill bit and insert the plugs provided.

Then remove the transparent cover from the wall dock by unscrewing the four screws. This can be done with the tool provided. After that, attach the wall dock to the wall using the screws provided. These should be securely fastened.

Next, measure the diameter of the power cable and then cut the appropriate opening in the rubber seal. After that, you can feed the power and optical data cables through. Next, place the strain relief over the power wire and also mount it securely with the screws provided. Finally, connect the wires to the appropriate terminal strips, mount the transparent cover, and make sure no wiring sticks out from under the cover before tightening everything down securely. Installation of the wall dock is now complete.

Installing charging cable EVBox Elvi

To install the charging cable, first remove the cardboard cover from the charging station. Then remove the charging cable from its packaging and check that the rubber sealing ring on the plug is present and seated correctly, ensuring that the correct IP code is met. Place the charging station on its side so that the cable can be inserted. This should be pressed firmly in place. Then you can turn the charging station over and gently lay it down on a soft surface. Then insert the bolt and tighten it with a T30 bit. Afterwards, check that the cable is securely attached and that the bolt is tightened properly. Installing the charging cable is now complete.

Activate Elvi

Download the EVBox mobile app for charging station management. On this, you can log in or create an account. Once you have done this, you can add the Elvi charging station by adding the station id and security code in the app. After that, the app will display steps to connect to wifi. After connecting to wifi, you can add charging passes and other charging key fobs through the app. All charging sessions will be recorded in the app from now on.

Installing the charging station

To install the charging station, hold the station against the wall dock. Press straight ahead until a click sound is heard. Then check carefully that the Elvi is properly attached

Once the Elvi is properly attached, the power to the charging station can be switched on. The Elvi should turn on and a red flashing LED ring will be visible. Should nothing be visible, this is probably due to a faulty connection of the charging cable. In that case, repeat this installation.

The installation of the EVBox Elvi is now complete. The charging station should be ready for use.
