In order to give you the best possible idea of how to install a Besen charging station, we will describe the installation of the charging station according to the installation manual. The contents of the Besen Wallbox are as follows:

Drilling holes and placing screws
First, take the reference paper. Place it on the wall where you want to attach the Besen. The reference paper indicates exactly where to drill the holes.
Once the holes are drilled, you can insert 30mm screws into the holes with the hammer.
Place the back plate and hang up the charging station
Place the back plate on the wall with the 30mm screws. Then hang the EV Charger from this back plate. Make sure it is securely fastened.
Position the socket on the wall
Once the EV Charger is hanging properly on the wall, you can start securing the socket. This starts by removing the front cover in front of the socket. Next, screw the socket to the wall with the 95mm screws and then push the front cover back onto the socket. Make sure and check that the socket is securely fastened.
Wiring and finalisation
After hanging the socket, only the wiring remains to be connected. Make sure there is a proper power cable running from the meter box, so that the Besen is connected safely and properly. After connecting the cabling, the installation is complete.

Is a charging station at home cost-effective?
Yes, installing an Ev charger at home is usually a smart and cost-effective decision, especially if you drive regularly. Home charging is often cheaper than public charging, particularly when you charge at night with off-peak electricity rates or use your own solar power. It also adds convenience, as you no longer need to rely on public infrastructure or wait for available chargers. Over time, the savings on charging costs can offset the upfront investment, especially with affordable options like Besen. In many cases, a home EV charger pays for itself within one to two years, depending on driving habits and electricity prices.
